StaySafe has been announced as a finalist in the Mobile App category in the prestigious Surrey Digital Awards for the second year in a row.
The Surrey Digital Awards reward innovation and progressive thinking by celebrating businesses who use digital media to achieve great things.
The awards will take place on the 10th March 2016 and will be hosted by former BBC presented Robin Bailey. Gold, silver and bronze prizes will be awarded on the night to 42 digital savvy winners.
StaySafe is a smartphone app and cloud-based monitoring service which provides personal protection for lone workers. The app tracks employee location is real time, accurate GPS, allowing employees to check-in safely and request immediate assistance through a number of alerts.
StaySafe won the Silver award for ‘Mobile App’ during last year’s ceremony and have since been working hard to ensure that the app continues to excel in its field. Since last year’s awards, StaySafe have introduced new features such as an automatic check-in function for high risk employees, and increased usability in remote areas via a partnership with global satellite communications expert, Inmarsat.
StaySafe have also introduced a new SuperHub which allows employers to monitor lone workers operating within different divisions on one screen.
